What is Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Therapy?

Considered a scientifically based form of massage therapy that focuses on soft tissue manipulation, it is known to restore the function of the myofascial system as well as the nervous system. There is significant clinical evidence and anecdotal proof that this is a very effective form of treatment when it comes to rehabilitation and treating chronic pain. It heals and eliminates a variety of ailments by targeting the root cause in post-operative, and acute cases, as well as for athletes.

Our highly skilled therapists have over a decade of experience practicing Neuromuscular Therapy.

What conditions does Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Therapy treat?

Neuromuscular Therapy is used to treat chronic pain conditions, including but not exclusively: Headaches, Migraines, Scoliosis, TMJ, Whiplash, Herniated Disc Syndrome, Back Pain, Sciatica, Neck Pain, Shoulder Pain, Hip Pain, Knee Pain, Foot Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Shin Splints, Tendonitis, Muscle Spasms, Cramps and Strains, Postural Distortions, Fibromyalgia, and Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Pain is usually caused by biomechanical, biochemical, and psychosocial factors, with significant correlations between them. Most practitioners apply strategies from only one of these categories, with mixed results prior to recovery. Once all 3 categories are addressed, there is an opportunity for significant relief. This may require a multidisciplinary approach.
